Fabulous Short Skirts for Mature Woman.

Woman with kind of age (40's - 50's) like celebrities love to carry this piece of fashion from runways, events even at the street and public places as they love to show and entertained people on how to pull their self in wearing this kinds of style that definitely looked up by any ages and sexes, here are some Hollywood celebrities, artist that surely mashes your brain and think that at their age they still have what it takes to turn this piece of fashion around the body.

Vivica A. Fox stepped out for a night of revelry at Greystone Manor a few days back in a delectably form fitting, thigh skimming mini dress by Michael Costello. While your thought Ms. Fox looked hot, screaming your voices of dissension were loud and clear about her dress.

Ms. Fox is 50 and fabulous, and honestly looks better than some of her contemporaries. The same could be said for serial mini skirt supporter Jennifer Lopez, who at 45-years-old, has not let age stop her from showing off her toned legs, absolutely stunning from the stands she makes the curves brought by her short skirt, making every men drooled insanely around her body.
42-year-old Cameron Diaz loves a mini red carpet moment looks stunning with this detail short skirt with stunning long sleeves draping its curves in sexy vintage vixen.

As does 42-year-old Tracee Ellis Ross, who rocked a high thigh hitting romper in a red carpet gathering, showing that ages doesn't matter in wearing skirt, flaunting its sexiness even at her age.

And though an extreme example, 56-year-old Madonna rarely even wears pants at all, a surely open minded artist shows off her glamorous looks with this sexy short skirt, uniquely impressing everyone that at her age she can still have the "Queen" tag, smoking with hot style and figure.

Quite a few factors make these women exceptions to the rule: they’re famous, and here to entertain, so they get a sartorial pass in most cases. Also, these ladies look ah-mazing for their age. If you’re 40+, yet have the body of a twenty something, why not show it off?

I also think it comes down to fit. Perhaps Auntie Viv’s dress was a bit on the tight and short side, and could’ve used a little more fabric. But if the proportions are more forgiving, then why can’t a woman of a certain age wear a short skirt?

I’m personally slightly conservative, raised by somewhat strict parents (My Dad once told me I was too old to wear short skirts, and I’m in my 30’s! He crazy), but I say that if you got it, and it looks tasteful and classy, flaunt it. You only live once.

Prom night is your big night to shine as a young adult. And we agree that every detail matters. So focus on your body type, hair color, and unique attitude as you peruse our preview of the latest prom trends.

Hollywood's red carpet is a major influence all year round. Celebrity-inspired prom trends long and short dresses in smooth satin sheaths and Latin-styled trains and ruffles take center stage. Strapless and halter looks show off your elegant shoulders and neckline. Beads add pizzazz and are showing up everywhere. And watch for the long and classy one-shoulder formal gown. The one strap plays a major role adorned with crystals, sequins, or leather marking one of the biggest prom trends of the year.

Mother Nature lends her bright spring colors and jewel tones for this year's prom trends. Bright is the new black. It's your night to shine, after all. Think pink if you want to show off your inner princess, white if you're into timeless elegance, sage green or deep lavender if you're more subtle, lime, turquoise, fuchsia, or red if you're more daring. And if you're ready to rock the party, try on a gold or silver halter style gown and finish the look off with golden gloves. Mother Nature's influence extends to flirty floral patterns and tiger and giraffe prints. Pattern and print prom dresses make quite the statement in pictures too! And speaking of Mother Nature, to ensure your peace of mind, remember to stash Tampax Pearl Compak into your tiny purse.

If it's the limelight you're craving, go for the more dramatic prom trendsbeading, lace or metallic trim, embroidered petal designs, oh so feminine bows, unexpected belts, and sparkling sequinglamming up chiffon, taffeta and metallic fabrics all turn ordinary run-of-the-mill prom dresses into the high fashion that represents your unique personality. When it comes to makeup prom trends, keep it traditional with a bit of trendiness to bring out your best features. Partner a bold eye with a soft lip or bright bold lips with a soft neutral eye. And remember, your eye shadow does not have to match your prom dress.

Wearing High Heels

The first pair you ever tried on was probably your mother's, when she wasn't looking. The first pair you ever owned was probably pink sequined. Chances are it was a gift that came with a boa, some gaudy fake jewels and some play make up. No doubt it was your favorite present. Nothing says big girl, glamorous and yes sexy like wearing high heels.

Fast-forward to the mall this season. Watch the girl wobbling precariously as she shops in forward-thrusting heels. She believes that when she is wearing high heels, she appears smarter and more sophisticated, that her carriage is improved, and that she walks better. What a pity that her feet disagree!

Shoes run rampant in books, calendars, and movie covers, they dangle in miniature precious metal versions from earlobes and chains. Their original purpose, to protect the feet and aid mobility, has changed. Now they've become a constant obsession in pop culture, none more than the majestic high heel. Women, young and old, choose to wear them, often at the expense of their own physical comfort. No matter what we say, we know you love how wearing high heels makes you feel.

The fashion forecast is for women's shoes to be high, higher, and highest. Think five-, six-, and seven-inch heels. Before you run out and join the crowd, we just want to give you some facts before you start wearing high heels too often.

Did you know...?
The stiletto heel, known as the killer heel, comes from a term meaning thin-bladed knife. It was worn by Catherine de Medicis, who in 1533 at the age of 15, brought them from Florence to the French court. Up until the 1700s, the five-inch heel was the most popular shoe among European women.

It's hard not to feel sexy when wearing high heels. That's because they tilt the fanny and arch the instep. They lift the calves and make your feet look shorter. They create the illusion of longer, more defined legs and emphasize all the aspects of femininity.

If you do succumb and buy a pair this season, doctors recommend that you wear them around the house first to get used to them and decrease your chances off falling and breaking or spraining your ankle. Stiletto shoes comes on you with a great gift of sexiness, as it boost the confidence you want on any dress or outfits you want, Of all the miracles of modern shoe technology, the stiletto might be the greatest.

What Clothes Can Say About You

What's so bad about wearing a tank top to school? Or a pair of low, low-rise jeans? You should be free to express yourself through your clothes, right? And although you may think that "dress codes and attire rules are cramping your individuality, take a moment to think about what your clothing says about you and the consequences of what you wear.

What Your Clothes Say
Your fashion choices say so much about you, from your personality and music preferences to your friends and activities. Problems can occur, however, when your clothes are too revealing. Experts agree that wearing low-cut shirts, tight-fitting jeans, miniskirts or super tight tank tops that reveal your bra straps can give off the wrong message.

The Consequences of Revealing Clothes
You want your clothes to compliment you and invite the right attention. People should focus on you and not your body parts. When you wear revealing clothes like low tops or super tight skirts, people get distracted and may believe you are interested in something you’re not. Rumors can start and you can ruin your reputation as a straight-A student with good morals. You also want to abide by any rules at your school. These are in place to protect you, and who wants to end up in the principal’s office?! That can be humiliating!

Be Outfit Aware
Sometimes you may not even mean to wear something revealing. Remember your favorite shirt from last year? All of the sudden it’s fitting a lot tighter through the chest. Your body is changing and sometimes your wardrobe just doesn’t keep up. Be aware of how your clothes fit and check yourself before you leave your house. Choose the outfit that will say all the right things about you like how you are stylish and beautiful. Remove the focus from the changes in your body’s development.

Make an effort to be aware of your clothing choices. Don't let the wrong fashion impression undo all the wonderful work you do. Instead, make sure that the clothes you choose each day flatter your figure and cover all your personal parts. You want the attention you get from teachers, parents and guys to be positive. You’ll also feel great knowing that everyone loves you for who you are and the things you say and do. That’s real beauty!

Fashion tips creating your own style

Have you ever opened up a fashion magazine and thought “What in the world were they thinking? Did they dress these models in the dark?” You’re not alone. The mixture of prints and fabrics featured in these magazines make their outfits look like the dressing room floor rather than something you’d actually wear to school.
But here’s a little secret no one actually wears that stuff…well, not all together at least. The real value of these so-called “fashion trends” is to find something you think is cool, and work it into your existing wardrobe. Save yourself the trouble of matching your outfits to the mannequins in the storefront, and rock your own trends.
Here are five tips to help you discover your personal style and feel confident in everything you put on.

Find the Right Fit
When it comes to style, fit is everything. When something fits right, you’re not only more comfortable, but the clothes will look better on you. Don’t try to force your figure into every style. If skinny jeans aren’t your thing, try out the boot cut. Be sure to try on everything you plan to buy. It may look great on the hanger, but it’s better to be safe than sorry and visit the dressing room.

Make the Effort
It might be tough to put extra thought into your outfits when you only have 15 minutes to get ready before school, but putting in the effort gives you that polished, put-together look everyone craves. Try picking out an outfit the night before, and taking a good look at your closet to find clothes you forgot you even had. Pick out jewelry and shoes in advance and you will look like you spent hours getting ready. Don’t worry, we won’t spill the beans on your secret.

When in Doubt, Overdress
Famous designer Vivienne Westwood was once quoted in saying, “If in doubt overdress,” and we couldn’t agree with it more. Now, that doesn’t mean rock your homecoming dress in 5th bell biology, but it does mean pick the dressier option when you are confused on which outfit to wear. You’ll never regret wearing a cute pair of jeans and flats to the movies over the grey sweatpants you practically sleep in. It’s better any day to be overdressed than look like you rolled out of bed.

Go for Classic Basics
If you’re out buying new clothes, it’s a good idea to purchase basics you can wear year-round. Although color blocking is a huge trend this year, it may be a no-go next season. Finding a good pair of jeans, fitted t-shirts and long cardigans can always be taken to the next level with embellished jewelry or shoes. Save money and time by picking out classic items that never go out of style.

Be Yourself
You should always follow the fashion rule of dressing for you, and you alone. Even if your best friend insists that you buy the latest pair of boots, because she loves them—they may not be for you. When it comes to fashion, you will only be confident in clothes you like to wear. If it doesn't feel right, or you can’t be yourself in a particular outfit, don’t wear it. Fashion is all about self-expression; so don’t forget the most important part–you.
